Since 2010, Union City Kids' Zone members have gathered to discuss innovative ways to address the needs of their most vulnerable students.

In Spring 2010, NHUSD previous Superintendent Kari McVeigh gathered a group of community and civic leaders from Union City to discuss innovative ways to address the needs of our most vulnerable students.

•These leaders, committed to the success of every student, agreed to come together as the Union City Kids’ Zone.

•The collaborative has grown from 17 members at that time, to over 60 members today; and includes representatives from greater Tri-Cities area, many not located in Union City.
